We also received a 2011 Cradle Coast award for contribution to sustainable tourism.
 
We ask that our guests respect and adopt our environmental policy and therefore help us to protect this wonderful area in Strahan, on the edge of the World Heritage area.

Did you know that Marsden Court is built on the Tasmanian Government Railway Yards of West Strahan?

The original turntable housed in the West Strahan railway yard was built in 1892, and was donated by the McDermott family in 1999 to the West Coast Wilderness Railway. This has been restored and is now in regular use at Regatta Point.

For those who are wondering where the turntable used to be, we’ve turned the site into a beautiful rose garden.
